We Stand With LA

We are heartbroken by the devastation in LA this past week. Our hearts go out to everyone affected across the city.

We’ve partnered with local relief organizations and will be donating 100% of proceeds from our Giggly <3’s LA shirt.

All proceeds will go to the LAFD Foundation and California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund.

Let’s show our support for our friends in LA. <333

About the Cause

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation provides vital equipment and funds critical programs to help the LAFD save lives and protect communities.

Approximately 97% of the city's fire budget is allocated towards personnel costs, leaving just 3% to cover all other life-safety costs. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation is the official nonprofit arm of the Los Angeles City Fire Department. The Foundation was established in 2010 to bridge critical funding gaps for essential tools, equipment, and programs. The LAFD Foundation channels donations from private, corporate, and community partners into tangible resources to help firefighters protect the people of Los Angeles.

In recent years, the LAFD Foundation has assisted the Department by providing specialized equipment such as a wildland bulldozer, night-vision flight goggles, emergency fire shelters, thermal imaging cameras, drones, and swift-water rescue boats.

The LAFD Foundation also administers the Adopt-A-Fire-Station program, which improves living and working conditions in all 106 fire stations, and provides funding for numerous youth outreach and education programs.

The California Community Foundation has a long history of making a direct and meaningful impact on individuals and families in need, ensuring that support reaches those most affected. Since 2003, the CCF Wildfire Recovery Fund has provided over $30 million to communities affected by disasters.

CCF ensures that resources reach those most in need, leveraging partnerships with community-based organizations and government agencies while using data from CalFire and the CDC’s Social Vulnerability Index to prioritize underserved communities.

For the LA County wildfires, CCF has activated their fund to complement immediate relief, addressing the long-term recovery needs of neighborhoods long after media attention has shifted away. CCF’s disaster and recovery efforts support an array of critical recovery services, including housing, case management, mental health, and medical care for displaced residents. It also aids in rebuilding essential infrastructure like emergency communication systems and offers financial disaster assistance, labor law education, and immigration services to low-wage workers and immigrant families.
